My name is Allison Erickson and I run Aetas Designs.

I have been sewing since I was a child and have a degree in Costuming from the University of Connecticut.  I love historical clothing of all periods but especially the Medieval and Renaissance periods.

I enjoy working with people to create garments for them, that not only fit them well but also make them happy when they wear them. I love creating a persons dream outfit whether it is a simple shirt they have always wanted and never been able to find or if it is the bridal gown they always dreamed they would have.

Aetas is a Latin word (pronounced ātis) its definition is: aetas: of human life, either [a lifetime] or [time of life, age].
